The 12th Shanghai Biennale-Urban Project
   The exhibition network of the 12th Shanghai Biennale will expand the nomadic lands to urban space. The Swatch Peace Art Hotel on the Bund is an important reference in Shanghai’s vibrant contemporary art scene. As one of the venues for this year’s Shanghai Biennale “Urban Project”, it will open its doors to the public on November 9, 2018. Bring the work ‘Titan Connection’ by Taiwanese artist Yao Ruizhong across photography, installation and painting. With the help of 300 photographs and 3 frequency images, the work presents the concept of ‘eternal reincarnation’, and attempts to explore the spectacle of desire displayed by folk religious beliefs through huge idols. Shanghai Oil Tank Art Center will display the Prussian Blue by Mexican artist Yishai Jusidman and the multimedia works created by Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda.
* The above-mentioned city exhibition halls will start concurrently with the exhibition of the main venue of the 12th Shanghai Biennale, and the exhibition period will last for nearly 4 months.
